Automated electroplating system for surface treatment of titanium and titanium alloys for medical technology
The new COMPACTA ROBOT electroplating line, combined with advanced industrial robot technology, offers an optimal automation solution for electroplating processes. The control unit with operating panel offers numerous setting options, parameter management and product management. The automated processes achieve high savings potential and perfect surface results.

For optimized parts movement
On our systems, you can implement a wide range of processes that are important for medical technology. Whether electropolishing for stents or anodizing of medical components for better visibility.
Realize several processes simultaneously on our systems.
The robot arm can be individually programmed and controlled to perform upward and downward movements as well as rotary and swing movements. The smooth movements ensure consistent surface results across all batches. The optionally available linear axis increases the horizontal working range of the robot arm by up to 5 m. This means that complete electroplating processes can be mapped.
The COMPACTA ROBOT is multifunctional and can be used for drum, basket and rack goods. The maximum payload per goods carrier is up to 12.5 kg and the working radius up to 1300 mm - depending on the robot version.
In combination with a PLC, additional system-specific interfaces can be programmed and automated.
The robot arm is compatible with:
Standard tray design:
Output power: max. 12000 Watt
Output current: max. 60A (at 20V)
Output voltage: max. 600V (at 3A)
DATA SHEET RECTIFIER |
Output power: max. 750 Watt
Output current: max. 60A (at 12V)
Output voltage: max. 250V (at 3A)
DATA SHEET RECTIFIER |
With our new robot technology, you can achieve optimum operating surfaces even faster. Thanks to the large number of programmable movements, you can achieve more efficient and effective results for each process step. On average, throughput times can be increased by 30%.
The optional linear axis increases the horizontal working range of the robot arm by up to 5m. This allows complete electroplating processes to be mapped.
Up and down movements can be individually programmed and executed with the robot arm.
The robot arm can be used to individually program and carry out turning and swing movements.
Control and programming are carried out via a tablet using arrow keys. The robot can be precisely adjusted to your process with customisable waypoints and times.
The optional linear axis increases the horizontal working range of the robot arm by up to 5 m. This allows complete electroplating processes to be mapped.
Different gripping devices are available to map each individual process.
The following bath parameters can be individually programmed using the PLC control:
